Ensuring you have a relevant and current referral, entitles medicare card holders to the medicare rebate for their consultations/treatments.

This does depend on the reason you have been referred and if additional testing is required, on average 60-90 minutes. 

Yes, there is free 2 hour parking in the surrounding streets immediately adjacent, and within easy walking access, to Gold Coast Private Hospital (on the old Commonwealth Games Site).  

There is also a convenient ‘drop off’ zone and disability parking within 25metres from our clinic.

There is also paid parking, accessible via Innovation Drive.

The tram stop and bus stop are directly across the road, a 2 minute walk.

Yes as we are a private practice, please phone the rooms for further information about the fees.

You will need to ensure your referral is with us before hand or bring a copy with you.

Glasses if you wear them, a list of CURRENT medications, medicare card and health fund  details.

Please bring copies of any relevant scans or blood test results, if you have them.

If you have a current referral Medicare will rebate you for your visit. Some but not all tests have a rebate, this does not cover the full cost of your consultation / treatments. 

We will process your claim if paid in full.  The rebate will go into the account you have nominated with medicare within 24 hours. 

Your health fund does not cover any in rooms consultations or procedures, only those done within a day surgery or as an in patient.

You will often need your eyes dilated, which means that you will not be able to drive for 2 hours.
